What’s changing is how hemp products will be evaluated under Public Law 119-37, passed November 2025 and scheduled to take effect November 2026. That law introduces a Total THC framework – calculated as Total THC = (THCA x 0.877) + Delta-9 THC – which changes how compliance is measured across the industry.
