THC metabolites from a Delta-9 vape pen can be detectable in urine for anywhere from 3 days to over 30 days and that range is driven almost entirely by how often you use it. One or two sessions for a first-time or occasional user can clear in 3 to 5 days. Someone vaping daily for weeks is looking at a 30-day window or longer, sometimes much longer.

The reason is fat solubility. THC metabolites bind to fat tissue and release back into the bloodstream gradually over time. Higher body fat percentage extends detection windows. Faster metabolism shortens them. Vaping does clear faster than edibles because the liver conversion step that produces long-lingering 11-hydroxy-THC metabolites is bypassed – but that doesn’t make vaping low-risk for drug testing. It just means the tail is shorter than an edible, not absent.
