Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no consistent industry standard for DNT, we do not currently respond to DNT signals in a uniform way.

If your browser or device sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we will treat it as a request to limit applicable data sharing or processing where required by law.

Sensitive Personal Information

Sensitive Personal Information (as defined by California law) can include things like government ID numbers, precise geolocation, financial account login credentials, genetic/biometric data, and health or sex-life information.

What we do (and don’t do):

  • We do not intentionally collect Sensitive Personal Information as part of normal browsing or checkout (such as Social Security numbers, precise geolocation, genetic data, biometric identifiers, or health diagnoses).
  • In certain situations (for example, to help prevent fraud, chargebacks, or underage purchases), we may request age/identity verification. If you provide verification information (which could include a government-issued ID), we use it only to verify identity/age and protect against fraud – not for marketing – and we limit access and retain it only as long as reasonably necessary for verification, compliance, and recordkeeping.
  • We do not collect financial account login credentials. Payments are processed through Authorize.net, and we do not store full payment card details on our servers.
  • If you voluntarily include sensitive details in a message to us (for example, in a customer support email), we use that information only to respond to you and provide support.

Limiting use of Sensitive Personal Information (California)
If we collect Sensitive Personal Information, we use it only as reasonably necessary to provide requested services, maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with law. California residents may have the right to request that a business limit the use and disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information, subject to certain exceptions.
